Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. Union Trojans (Mt. Union, PA), 66-22 in a league bout.
With the victory, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Glendale (Flinton, PA) to play the Vikings in a Moshannon Valley bout on Thursday, February 2. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Trojans play the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Inter County bout, on Thursday, February 2. Mt. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 16-2 record after their 90-22 league win over West Branch (Morrisdale, PA)
