Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA), 63-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
Next up, the Blue Pirates clash with the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Moshannon Valley bout, on Monday, January 16. Williamsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 87-54 league loss to Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA).
