Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Branch overwhelmed by Juniata Valley
December 15, 2016: Morrisdale, PA 16858The Juniata Valley Hornets basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host West Branch Warriors to 62 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moshannon Valley for a Moshannon Valley contest on Monday, December 19. Juniata Valley will battle a Black Knights/Damsels team coming off a 57-25 league win over Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels record now stands at 3-0.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA). The Blue Pirates come into the Inter County - North contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Williamsburg triumphed over Mt. Union (Mt. Union, PA), 58-57, in a league contest.
