Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA), 51-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Glendale (Flinton, PA) to play the Vikings in a Moshannon Valley bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Glendale won 55-46 in their recent league bout against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Huntingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 75-45 league loss to Central (Martinsburg, PA)
